Sealing the level sensors is a purely manual task; it involves complex procedures and is quite tedious. Two people are needed to work together, and they must constantly pay attention to changes in the output signals – there’s no room for any carelessness. Otherwise, if a unit becomes defective, all previous efforts will be wasted, and fixing it will take ten times as long...... I worked from 8 a.m. until 2:35 p.m. yesterday, working non-stop for 6.5 hours. I didn’t even have time to drink water or eat lunch. When I finished, I counted 16 units – we completed the task ahead of schedule. My back and waist hurt terribly. I’m grateful to the Party and to ** for this success; otherwise, it would have taken 8 hours just to seal 16 units...... With the price of pork soaring, the prices of the level sensors we produce don’t seem to increase at all. Those small probes are placed in water or oil and remain there for over a decade. We earn such little money for all this hard work – it’s truly frustrating. Tears well up in my eyes...... Time to get up. I won’t be sealing any probes today; I’ll be fixing and welding boards instead. There’s always so much work for us poor people to do...... {:2_45:}
