For the projects at our company, we need to purchase safety valves and rupture disks for 70m3 polymerization reactors. I was wondering which manufacturers produce products of higher quality; could you please provide some recommendations? It would be great if you could also share the relevant contacts and contact information.
The rupture discs we use are supplied by Dalian University of Technology Safety Equipment Co., Ltd
Only four manufacturers are qualified to produce rupture discs: Huali, Chenghang, Dalian University of Technology, and Xinguang; you can find their addresses by searching on Baidu... I’ve already posted the full names of these four companies on the forum...
Are there any foreign manufacturers?
If the quality of these four manufacturers is compared, what is the situation?
As a reminder, when ordering rupture discs, make sure to choose ones that can withstand negative pressure; otherwise, the polymerization tank may collapse the rupture disc during vacuuming.
Recently, in our factory, the burst discs used on the reactors for producing Type 8 material failed to function on three occasions in a row; the pressure reached at those times was no more than 11.4 kg, and the service life of these burst discs was only around 9 months – which is far shorter than the intended lifespan. I won’t mention which manufacturer produced them; it’s better to use imported ones instead.
