For the pipeline that carries the effluent from the soft water station’s anion exchange resin bed to the intermediate tank in my company, what standard should be applied?
The effluent from the cation exchange column is acidic, with a pH level of around 1; therefore, anti-corrosion pipes are required for this effluent. Lined pipes such as plastic-lined or rubber-lined pipes can be used, as well as plastic pipes like UPVC and PE pipes.

Lining standard: HG 20538-92; Gluing standard: HG 21503-93; Power industry standard: DL/T 935-2005. Additional note: Since the water output from the anion exchange column is acidic, in addition to corrosion protection for the pipes, all other valves also require corrosion protection. In fact, if possible, it would be better to use UPVC for everything, as it is cost-effective!
