Insufficient flow from the dosing metering pump has an impact on the efficiency of the entire process. So why does this occur, and how can it be resolved? Reasons for insufficient flow in the dosing metering pump: 1. Foreign objects entering the inlet and outlet check valves, causing them to not close properly. 2. Wear and tear on the inlet and outlet check valves. 3. Air presence in the hydraulic oil chamber. 4. The internal fill valve not closing properly. 5. The internal vent valve not functioning correctly to release air. 6. Wear and tear on the plunger seal. 7. Incorrect hydraulic oil grade. 8. The stroke speed not matching the model specifications. 9. Incomplete air release between the dual diaphragms. 10. Leakage in the vent valve between the dual diaphragms. Solutions to insufficient flow in the dosing metering pump: 1. Remove the inlet and outlet check valves and clean or replace them. 2. Replace the check valve components, as well as the valve balls and seats. 3. Release air from the hydraulic oil chamber. It is possible to add fluid to release exhaust gas, or to release exhaust gas by holding back pressure. 4. Replace the built-in refilling valve. 5. Replace or clean the built-in exhaust valve. 6. Replace the plunger seal. 7. Use hydraulic oil of the correct grade. 8. If the stroke speed is not appropriate, the worm/gear set needs to be replaced. 9. Exhaust the gas from the dual-diaphragm assembly; vacuuming can also be used. 10. Replace the exhaust valve of the dual-diaphragm assembly.
