It’s very cold today; the fog hasn’t dissipated at all. It’s almost 10 p.m. now, but thinking back to what happened this morning still makes me feel warm inside. In the morning, I ride an electric bike to the vegetable market to sell vegetables. On the way back, I saw a man in his thirties parked his bicycle in the middle of the road at an intersection. From the moment I saw him stop his bicycle and prop up its frame, I inwardly complained, \"Why did he stop in the middle of the road? It’s blocking everyone.\" But when I rode closer, I realized that it was an old man who was riding a tricycle and couldn’t go any further uphill. Since the road was repaired not long ago, the main road at the intersection is a few centimeters higher than the side roads. That man stopped his bicycle to give a push to the old man’s tricycle, and at the same time, another woman stopped her bicycle nearby; without even setting it down, she bent down to help push as well. Seeing this scene, I immediately realized how kind-hearted these two people are. Although it was just a simple act of pushing the tricycle to help the old man climb the slope, the spirit they demonstrated could influence many people around us, including me. I have no idea how many kind hands there are on cold winter days, but today I saw it with my own eyes and could feel this gentle, genuine warmth.
In this world of cold indifference, this ray of sunshine is needed to warm the hearts of people.
There are still many good people; although society can be indifferent, people’s hearts remain kind
It’s a bit cold today; I started to have a runny nose while on the subway. I searched my pockets everywhere but couldn’t find any tissues, so I had to wipe my nose with my hand and try to hold on. At that moment, a guy on the other side quietly opened his bag, took out a pack of tissues, and nodded at me. I took two tissues to wipe my nose; I was very grateful. I think the same as you – there are still many good people, and I feel very lucky.
