The project construction includes: 1. Upgrading and renovating the 53 existing fixed water monitoring stations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, which involves the upgrading of 21 stations under the \"**Project for the Upgrade and Improvement of Automatic Water Quality Monitoring Stations\" and the upgrading of 32 stations under the \"**Commission for Development and Reform’s Project to Enhance the Capacity for Automatic Water Quality Monitoring in the Yangtze River Economic Belt\". After the upgrades, the technical requirements for these instruments and system integrations were consistent with those of newly built stations. 2. Establish 45 new automatic water quality monitoring stations across provincial boundaries. Equipment for the five conventional parameters, permanganate index, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus, as well as system integration, were purchased for 44 fixed water stations; equipment for the same parameters, permanganate index, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, chlorophyll a, and algal density, along with system integration and the hull of the floating boat, was purchased for 1 floating water station. Recently, the results of the bidding for this project were announced; the final winning bid amount was 43.60712 million yuan. ZTE Instruments, Qingdao Jiaming, Ningbo University of Science and Technology Environmental Sciences, Lvjie Technology, Xiedilong, Yuxing Technology, and Lihé Technology were the winners respectively.
