Who has any information on drums related to methanol synthesis? Please help, thanks
I kind of will get some back after work tomorrow; our new project has a composite synthesis tower with a steam drum on it
Horizontal type, ∮1800×4600, V=13.5 m³. Design pressure: 5.0 Mpa (G). Design temperature: 264°C. To ensure that the heat generated by the synthesis reaction can be removed promptly and smoothly, the drum must maintain a certain liquid level. At the same time, to prevent water from entering the steam outlet pipe, the liquid level in the drum must not exceed a certain upper limit. In normal operation, the drum liquid level is generally maintained between 1/3 and 1/2 of the drum’s volume. Both the water pressure supplied to the boiler and the opening degree of the water supply valve can directly affect the liquid level in the drum. The amount of blowdown from the drum can also be used to fine-tune its pressure and liquid level; if necessary, increasing the blowdown rate can quickly reduce the drum’s liquid level and pressure, thereby adjusting the temperature of the catalyst layer in the synthesis tower.
