Inside the chemical dosing pump, the predetermined parameter requirements are achieved through the coordinated operation of worm gears. Lubricant needs to be added before use, and it must be replaced after a certain period of use – what are the guidelines for this? 1. The lubricating oil needs to be replaced after 250 hours of initial operation. Replace the lubricant every 2,500 hours or every six months thereafter. 2. Check the one-way check valve every six months, and decide whether to replace it based on actual usage. When the ambient temperature is below 100°C, winter-grade lubricant (such as Mobil 626) should be used. Troubleshooting of chemical dosing metering pumps/chemical dosing pumps: 1. Motor overheating: a. Missing phase in the three-phase power supply b. Incorrect motor wiring c. Motor stuck d. Frequency conversion control, with the motor operating at low frequencies for extended periods. (Suggested low frequency should be limited to 20Hz.) e. When operating in low-temperature environments, low-temperature lubricating oil needs to be used. 2. No flow at the pump outlet: a. The motor is not rotating. b. There is no fluid in the inlet pipeline or it is blocked. c. The check valves at the inlet and outlet are blocked. d. The check valves are installed in the wrong direction. e. The pump head does not discharge air properly. 3. The pump makes operating noise: a. Normal wear and friction between the worm gear and worm. b. The lubricating oil is not applied in the correct location. c. Bearing wear. d. Excessive clearance between the teeth of the worm gear and worm. 4. There is impact noise inside the pump: a. Reverse impact occurs during the stroke conversion process, which is a normal phenomenon. 5. No change in flow rate despite attempts to adjust it: a. Wear of the O-rings in the flow control valve. b. The flow control plunger has come loose from its holder. c. The pump head does not discharge air properly. 6. Insufficient flow at the pump outlet: a. Incorrect stroke setting. b. The NPSH in the inlet pipeline is not sufficient. c. Leakage in the safety valve of the outlet pipeline. d. Wear of the check valves at the inlet and outlet. e. Excessively high suction level. 7.
