What are the general control parameters for the pressure difference in a medium-transformer furnace system?
The required pressure difference in the conversion system is below 0.06 Mp. However, due to factors such as catalyst pulverization, caking, and overproduction, our pressure difference can reach up to 0.15 Mp. The main reasons for the increased resistance in the conversion catalyst layer are: 1. Poor quality of the catalyst, low strength, and tendency to pulverize. 2 The operating temperature fluctuates significantly frequently, causing the catalyst particles to expand and contract repeatedly until they break apart. Water enters the catalyst layer, causing the catalyst to become damp, clump together, and disintegrate. 4 Poor water quality causes inorganic salts to precipitate in the catalyst layer. 5 Excessive load, too high air velocity.

The pressure difference across each catalyst section is generally required to be below 0.02 MPa; if it exceeds 0.02 MPa, the resistance of that catalyst bed becomes too high. The main reasons for a high pressure difference in the conversion catalyst are: 1. Poor catalyst strength, resulting from pulverization. 2. It is caused by grain growth and sintering adhesion that occur as a result of the catalyst operating at high temperatures for an extended period of time. 3. It is caused by the dirt brought in by semi-water gas entering the catalyst bed. 4. Semi-water gas entering the catalyst bed with water causes caking and scaling of the catalyst.
This question depends on what type of conversion process you are using; for conversion devices operating at different pressure levels, the pressure difference changes accordingly.
The pressure difference in a conversion system is related to the process used as well as the operating pressure; it cannot be generalized. Could the original poster please provide more details?
In the medium-low-low process, the system pressure difference in the medium-pressure variation mode is generally not greater than 0.2 kilograms; otherwise, the bed resistance becomes too high
In addition to what the people upstairs mentioned, reduced catalyst activity and an excessive amount of steam added are also among the reasons for the high resistance
