Regarding the domestic production of the four-in-one nitric acid plant: I’d like to ask those who know about this Taking 10WT as an example, which has a greater cost-performance advantage, domestic or imported products? How much is the difference in operating costs? How many years will it take to reach parity? (Domestic Shaanxi Blower, imported GHH)
I also know that Shaanxi Gas Turbine seems to have carried out technical exchanges with our unit at the beginning of this year; I’m not sure about anything else
There is a private enterprise in Meishan, Sichuan, that uses Shanggu’s four-in-one unit, and the results are quite good. Generally, manufacturers with financial resources choose imported turbines, with MAN turbines being the best. This choice should take into account equipment investment, operating costs, and subsequent maintenance.
Domestic production should be supported. As far as I know, foreign products are not very different from those produced by Shaanxi Gas Turbine in China; it is said that Shaanxi Gas Turbine’s subsequent technologies were developed based on foreign technologies:victory:
There is not much difference between domestically produced 10WT units and those imported from abroad. At present, Shaanxi Gas Turbine has successfully manufactured 27WT four-in-one units, and Kaifeng has had one such unit in operation and has ordered another set; these units are 40–50 million yuan cheaper than MAN turbines. The difference is that the exhaust turbine efficiency is slightly lower than that of the MAN turbine, but it can fully meet the demand for steam produced internally with a surplus; all process performance indicators are similar to those of the units introduced by Shanhua.
There is a significant difference in price between domestic and imported products. The reliability, maintenance-free nature, and continuous operation time of foreign four-in-one unit products are much better than those of domestic units. The third 270,000-ton nitric acid production project at Shanxi Tianji uses imported units along with domestically produced supporting equipment, and it is operating very well. But at the 100,000-ton level, domestic products are also good. Shanxi Blower’s first four-in-one unit is in Yunnan; it’s really poor in performance, but it can still operate. The 100,000-ton four-in-one unit installed in Nanjing in 2007 is much better now. Our company has imported used GHH equipment, which has been in operation for thirty years and is still capable of production. As for domestically produced products, there are no major issues within five years; it’s hard to say what will happen over a longer period of time
Although domestic products are supported, the domestic units are indeed somewhat disappointing. The nitric acid units produced by Shaanxi Gas Turbine suffer from NOX gas leakage issues, which significantly affect the quality of the lubricating oil used in these units, leading to an increased acidity level. The unit experiences excessive vibration and large fluctuations during operation; the turbine lacks sufficient capacity, resulting in wasted energy from the converted gas and a reduced output of steam. Moreover, imported units with equivalent performance are smaller in size, have finely crafted components, operate smoothly as a whole, produce less noise, and experience low vibration. However, the turbine control system of the W505 is good. :)
This is determined by two factors: 1. If the production scale is greater than 150,000 tons, importation is recommended; 2. The financial strength of the enterprise plays a role as well
In November, I checked Nanhua’s 10WT domestic unit and 27WT imported unit. The quality isn’t good; the 10WT model hasn’t been activated. It seems that the manufacturing quality of foreign products is higher than that of domestic ones. But the problem now is that the NOX levels in the exhaust gases of these 27WT models abroad are still above the allowed limits, and yellow smoke is emitted!
Is the Shaanxi Blower four-in-one unit that good? How much performance do they have so far?
At present, the order volume for Shaanxi Gear’s four-in-one units has reached 69 sets. . . . . . . (Conservative figures) The price is half that of foreign products; in terms of performance, aside from a slightly lower tail gas recovery rate, its performance is almost on par with that of imported products. The specific gap remains to be confirmed. In terms of steam supply: 15WT with an external supply of 8T, 27WT with an external supply of 18T. AC Group for Tetra-nitric Acid Production Units: 161962544. We look forward to your joining. . . .
