Spectral analyzers are used to analyze the wavelength components of photonic devices such as semiconductor lasers and fiber lasers, in order to evaluate their wavelength characteristics. So, what are the breakthroughs of the newly released AQ6377 spectrometer by Yokogawa compared to other spectrometers? 1. Industry-leading measurement range The AQ6377 features a power dynamic range of 73 dB and a near-field dynamic range of 50 dB (a wavelength-related metric indicating a spectrometer’s ability to detect weaker light signals in the presence of stronger signals). AQ6377 has a power dynamic range 2000 times larger than that of interferometric instruments operating in the 5μm band, and a near-field dynamic range 10 times larger. This improvement in performance enables the AQ6377 to evaluate the side-mode characteristics of semiconductor lasers; no other devices of similar type with such high performance are available on the market. (This is based on a Yokogawa survey in December 2019. Dynamic range is a reference value or typical value, rather than a guaranteed value. 2. Highest wavelength resolution in the industry: The wavelength resolution of the AQ6377 is 200pm, which is leading in the industry; this figure is three times that of interferometric instruments operating in the 5μm range. (Based on a Yokogawa survey in December 2019, 200pm is the current highest wavelength resolution available for measuring 5μm light.) 3. Accurate spectrum measurement The AQ6377 features two additional functions; one of them is the elimination of water vapor in the spectrometer, as it can remove the water vapor absorption peaks at specific wavelengths. The second is to eliminate the influence of higher-order diffraction light. (Advanced diffraction light is an inherent phenomenon of all spectrometers; it produces a spectrum with a wavelength that is two to three times longer than that of the incident light.) ) For more product details, please visit: https://tmi.yokogawa.com/cn/solutions/products/optical-measuring-instruments/optical-spectrum-analyzer/aq6377-optical-spectrum-analyzer/
Back then, I used American handheld models and German desktop models.
Hello, I have a question: Do handheld spectrometers emit a high level of radiation toward the human body, and what precautions are needed?
