Methods for entering special characters in CAD: In AUTOCAD, a font can be defined (such as hztxt); for SHX fonts, the wcad.shx font is used, and for Big Fonts, the hxtxt.shx font is chosen. Simply check the Use Big Font checkbox, and that’s it! With this font, it’s easy to enter various punctuation marks, special symbols, Greek letters, mathematical symbols, etc., in AUTOCAD. Moreover, the height of Chinese characters and Western text printed using this font is the same. (Applicable to single-line text) The input methods are detailed in the table below: Input Code Special Symbol Explanation Input Code Special Symbol Explanation %%0~32 Space Character Space character %%33 ! %%34 “ Double quotes %%35 # %%36 $ %%37 % %%38 & %%39 ‘ Single quote %%40 ( Left parenthesis %%41 ) Right parenthesis %%42 * Multiplication sign %%43 + Addition sign %%44 , Comma %%45 - Subtraction sign %%46 . This font has the following advantages: 1. Chinese and English characters have the same height, so there’s no situation where English letters are significantly larger than Chinese characters. 2. The font style is quite attractive; the English characters resemble Roman script. You can choose your own font size – I usually use hztxt.shx, but definitely avoid choosing gbcbig.shx. 3. The main advantage is that there are many input methods for special characters, listed as follows: %%126 ~ ; %%127 o(degrees) ; %%128 ± ; %%129 F ; %%134 σ ; %%142 2(square) ; %%143 3(cubic) ; %%145 ‰ ; %%152 Circle the first character on the left; you can enter things like ①②, etc ; %%153 Circle the first two characters on the left; symbols such as ⑩ can be entered. %%154 Add a large circle to the first character on the left ; %%158 △ ; %%159 Symbol for ФI grade steel bars %%160 Symbol for ФII grade steel bars ; %%171 Ⅰ ; %%172 II ; %%173 Ⅲ ; %%174 Ⅳ ; %%175 Ⅴ %%176 Ⅵ %%177 Ⅶ ; %%178 Ⅷ ; %%179 Ⅸ ; %%180 Ⅹ ; %%181 Ⅺ ; %%182 Ⅻ %%190 Symbol for Фj15.24 steel strand ; %%191 Фs15 ; %%130 Change the following characters to subscripts %%131 End of subscript ; %%132 Make the following characters superscript ; %%133 End of superscript %%137 Make the following text one size smaller ; %%138 Make the following characters one size larger %%150 Increase the spacing between the two characters on the left ; %%151 Reduce the spacing between the two characters on the left; meanwhile, %%c,%%d,%%p also take effect.
It would be great if I could upload it. I’ve edited it in WORD, but I can’t upload it; I wanted to share it, but it ended up like this. I’m sorry!
Not bad; the things sent over are still quite useful
That’s great; I know the expressions for diameter and degrees now, I’ve learned it
I tried it, but many fonts aren’t recognized. What should I do?
Not bad; the things sent over are still quite useful
You don’t have the fonts owned by the original poster: wcad.shx, hxtxt.shx
There is no Wcad. Shx font, huh?
It seems they were all copied from CAD forums
Usually, you can just type it in directly. `But it’s still worth learning something!
