Employment options for chemical engineering graduates

I graduated from undergraduate school this year, and there are currently two companies interested in hiring me. I would like to hear the opinions of those who are more experienced: one is Sailun (with a factory in Qingdao); they have sent me an offer letter and require a response within three days. The advantage, in my opinion, is that there is no need to work shifts. The other company is Wanhua; I passed the interview, but they asked me to submit a medical examination report – it’s not yet clear whether I will be hired or not. The advantages, in my view, are high salary and good benefits, though shift work is required. Due to the pandemic, it’s not possible for me to go and visit these companies in person, so I hope those who are aware of the situation can give me some advice. Thank you all! It mainly comes down to the future development prospects; it seems that Qingdao has more potential, but the living pressures might also be greater

Working shifts isn’t really the first choice, but it also depends on whether it’s suitable for one’s own situation. If one has the ability, it’s possible to be transferred away from shift work quite quickly. It’s really necessary to go and take a look on site.
