Discussion: It’s better to muddle along in a state-owned enterprise than to strive hard in a private one (Reply +10 wealth). This topic has no specific constraints; it might be a false premise, but let’s discuss it anyway. 1. For those working in state-owned enterprises: Are you willing to switch to a private company to pursue your career? Are you facing a bottleneck in your career advancement? Is the corporate atmosphere still poor? Is it still for a promotion and a raise? 2. For friends in private enterprises: Have you considered working in a state-owned enterprise? Do you want to study systematically for further education? Still looking for a haven? Is it still for a good reputation? 3. For recent graduates: Enter a state-owned enterprise to gain a good platform with stable employment. Working in private enterprises offers many opportunities for promotion and is full of challenges. Some of it may contain my personal opinions; I welcome everyone to discuss and exchange ideas. It’s better to work in a state-owned enterprise than to strive hard in a private one – what do you think? Refining and Petrochemical Salary and Benefits Sharing Group
We graduated at that time; state-owned enterprises preferred those who had connections through their family networks or those whose major matched the requirements, and those with the best academic performance were given priority; For civil service positions, it comes down to exams, and what matters are family connections, financial resources, and one’s own abilities; it’s the same in both civil service exams and postgraduate entrance exams ; What’s left is the oil and petrochemical industry for recruitment; state-owned enterprises give priority to students with good academic records, student leaders, and Party members, while private companies mostly rely on hiring on a contract basis! In the later stages of oil refining, private enterprises are still not allowed to operate on a large scale; most private enterprises are engaged in small-scale oil refining! Under this premise, it refers to one’s work attitude and learning ability over 3 years in state-owned or private enterprises! State-owned enterprises have complex networks of connections, while private companies are also governed by relationships and social dynamics! **It was only when private enterprises were allowed to use foreign crude oil that the current situation emerged. Companies such as Zhejiang Petrochemical, Hengli, Baolai, Dongming, Jingbo, Shenghong, Yulong, and Hengyi provided opportunities for job transfers at this time, highlighting the difference between private and state-owned enterprises. Generally, in newly established refining and chemical plants, the leaders are from the three major oil companies, and naturally, those who work in the refining processes within those same companies are appointed as managers! In the business world, the executives of these three major oil companies began to strive to gain the trust of private enterprise owners; to earn that trust, it depended on their own abilities! 90% of both the directors and engineering team leaders come from the three major oil companies, while 10% are those who work in private enterprises as team leaders in new refineries.! So whether state-owned enterprises are better or private enterprises are better, it ultimately comes down to one’s own value and self-acceptance! Understand the dynamics in this refining industry: one must have strong working abilities, be willing to learn*, and possess a cautious personality! Listen to the boss! Gold is everywhere! Besides, new petrochemical plants all offer high salaries. It doesn’t seem worthwhile for state-owned enterprises to switch to large private petrochemical plants when the salary increase isn’t even twice as much; it’s better for them to go to large private companies, where there’s more money and more opportunities to learn! There’s no need to consider private or state-owned enterprises these days; the mindset in the Northeast remains closed-minded, focusing only on state and central state-owned enterprises! It doesn’t work! With plenty of money, you can work anywhere; kids, a wife, and family expenses are things that those who switch from state-owned to private companies need to take into consideration! After all, no matter how much money one has, if they lose their home and their children become left-behind children, it’s not worth it!
In my youth, I worked hard in a private company until I reached a management position; After middle age, one can switch to work in a state-owned enterprise (firstly, one needs to have certain advantages)
In my opinion, one should first gain experience in state-owned enterprises and become familiar with the management practices of large companies; once they have reached a certain level of expertise, they can then seek opportunities in private enterprises to apply their skills and obtain an appropriate position and compensation.
It’s hard to get by anywhere, but state-owned enterprises are indeed more stable; that became clear during this pandemic
This varies from person to person; those who are content with the status quo choose to work in state-owned enterprises rather than striving in private companies, as it is more stable and carries less risk.
State-owned enterprises also face significant risks! Day by day, less time is spent on solving practical problems~
Private enterprises should strive hard, and state-owned enterprises shouldn’t be slack!
