Gas-liquid distribution in packed towers

I am currently working on a DN700 packed tower. I would like to know whether a disc-type gas-liquid distributor is better or a standard tray-type gas-liquid distributor.
Small-diameter towers do not require a control tower.
We tend to use the trough tray type when the tower diameter is small.
(In my opinion), a trough-type distributor might be better.:L
The tray top reflux can use a trough-type liquid distributor, while the intermediate redistributor can use a tray-and-paddle type liquid distributor. Tubular distributors can also be used.
A disc-type one is better. It also depends on the height of the tower; if it’s over 5 meters tall, additional collection discs need to be added as appropriate.
I’m not sure whether it’s structured packing or loose packing. A tray-type gas-liquid distributor with bulk packing would be better.
