Should fuel oil antioxidants be added before acid wash degumming or after it? Which one is more effective? Also, which antioxidant is better?
Added after deacidification. If there is no deacidification device, it can be added directly as well, though the effect will be slightly poorer
If there is an acid-removal device, it is recommended to add it after acid removal. Additives are usually added in the final stage of the process; for example, pickling, as you mentioned, can cause the antioxidants to react. Generally, phenol-amine type antioxidants yield good results
