Just saw a cat with a tail that was only a little bit long

As far as I remember, cats all have pretty long tails. I feed the cats with the leftover food from my meals every day at noon. Last year, I was feeding the dog; it would come over every day at noon, during meal time. Since it was a vegetarian, I gave it all the meat-based food available each day. This year it came again, but I only saw it once since it first arrived. I never saw it again. I have to feed the cat this year. . .
What a poor cat; it seems like it’s about to give birth, as its belly is quite large. Its left front leg is injured, so it can’t walk or put weight on it.
Last year’s dog might have already turned into food and been eaten.
