Good news: I have developed an advanced esterification process – a catalyst-free esterification method that operates at moderate temperatures and pressures. Tested using a 20-liter pilot plant, this process is capable of reducing the acid value of raw materials with an initial acid value of 160 to 1 within 6 hours. The manufacturing process for ancient cypress is different; the temperature and pressure required are much higher (180–200 degrees, along with a pressure of over 20 kilograms). This process is not suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. The reason why the methanol recycling process is so popular in China at present is that it has its advantages – although it requires more energy, its efficiency is much higher, and the energy consumption per unit of output isn’t that high after all
