The development of prefabricated construction relies on advancements in Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology; during the construction of the Huoshenshan Hospital, its rapid design and assembly processes were all made possible by BIM technology. BIM assisted in the design of some wards at Huoshenshan Hospital. In this race against time, the team led by Liu Mengliang, dean of the School of Architectural Engineering at Hunan Transportation Vocational and Technical College, completed the BIM model design for some of Huoshenshan Hospital’s wards within 72 hours. By utilizing the information contained in the digital model of a building, it is possible to simulate and visualize the building at various stages such as design, construction, and operation and maintenance, thereby reducing errors and omissions throughout the entire project lifecycle and improving accuracy. Ensure that Huoshenshan Hospital can minimize mistakes and be completed on schedule. By employing prefabricated construction techniques, it is more advanced and safer than Xiaotangshan Hospital. Over 10 days and 10 nights, Huoshenshan Hospital was built at an astonishing pace; this construction miracle was made possible by the use of the industry’s most cutting-edge prefabricated building technologies. Adopting a standardized, modular design and making maximum use of mature prefabricated industrial products significantly reduces the amount of work required on-site, thereby maximizing efficiency. \"BIM + prefabrication\": the key factor behind the miraculous completion of Huoshenshan Hospital. BIM technology was used to rapidly develop an overall construction plan, avoiding subsequent rework and thus shortening the project timeline ； By utilizing prefabricated building technology and container mobile houses, the structure boasts good integrity and is easy to install, **which accelerates the construction progress. In addition to the use of BIM, another key aspect of prefabricated construction is the use of prefabricated components – building elements and fittings such as floor slabs, wall panels, stairs, balconies, etc., which are manufactured in factories. These components are then transported to the construction site where they are assembled using reliable connection methods, thereby **improving construction efficiency**. So what are the advantages of such prefabricated products? Firstly, it enables fast production while being energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Secondly, it facilitates transportation with minimal losses. Thirdly, it allows for flexible assembly, enabling efficient construction. Fourthly, it provides insulation, resulting in low energy consumption.
