Based on the requirements specified for the equipment, prepare the engineering drawings and manufacturing plans for the equipment (including detailed design documents such as design catalogs and calculation sheets) ； 2. Collaborate with the process engineering team in selecting certain special equipment, and specify technical requirements such as material manufacturing ； 3. Chemical process engineering requires design calculations for process plans, preparation of process packages. One also needs to be proficient in 3D modeling, as well as have knowledge of structures and instrumentation. What are the requirements for this?
1. Able to independently carry out process design work, which mainly includes preparing process packages, conducting feasibility studies, performing basic design, detailed design, construction drawing preparation, creating PID diagrams, and drawing equipment layout plans as well as other process-related drawings； There is a need for someone who can conduct analysis, carry out experiments, work on pilot tests and scale-up trials, as well as handle process design, equipment selection, and equipment layout. There are quite a few people who are capable of doing this. 2. The integration of the system requires cooperation from all parties involved – it cannot be accomplished by one person alone, but demands the effort of an entire team. One person really can’t do it.
Putting aside everything else, is there anyone who can do PDMS modeling and also use ASPEN to simulate processes? You think that just by paying such a low salary you can expect people to do everything? Such companies are clearly run by leaders or recruiters who know nothing; they try to get one person to do the work of three. I advise everyone to keep their eyes open and avoid falling for this trap
There are still some; even small units like ours have to do it, as process pipelines are inseparable from it
The process piping for small-scale units is functional, but I’ve never seen small-scale units that use both Aspen and PMDS; in other words, there’s no need to use software like PDMS if there isn’t a dedicated team to work with it
Our company is a small Class A design firm; I have worked on 2D piping design, as well as using PDMS, and I also work with ASPEN. . . .
