A few days ago, a friend said what should be done if the output of the electromagnetic flowmeter is shaking? What causes it? How to solve the problem of electromagnetic flowmeter output shaking? I believe there are many people who don’t know this issue. So today we from Jiangsu Hengda Instrument will explain to you the problem of electromagnetic flowmeter output shaking. Hope this helps everyone! 1. Failure causes of electromagnetic flowmeter output sloshing Output sloshing can generally be summarized into five causes of failure: 1. The flow itself is fluctuating or pulsating, which is not essentially a fault of the electromagnetic flowmeter. It only truthfully reflects the flow conditions. 2. The pipe is not filled with liquid or the liquid contains bubbles. 3. Electrical and magnetic interference such as external stray current. 4. Causes in terms of liquid physical properties (such as uneven conductivity of the liquid or slurry containing more variable particles/fibers, etc.). 5. The electrode material and liquid are not properly matched. 2. Checking procedures for electromagnetic flowmeter output oscillation The process for checking electromagnetic flowmeter output oscillation. First make a preliminary investigation and judgment based on the process, and then conduct detailed inspections and troubleshooting one by one. The order of inspections listed in the process is based on the principle. 1. It can be understood through observation or inquiry that the ones that do not require major operations come first, that is, the easy ones come first and then the difficult ones. 2. According to past on-site maintenance experience, the ones with higher frequency and higher probability of occurrence in the future are listed first. 3. Check your own sequence requirements. If the last few fault causes are confirmed through preliminary investigation, detailed inspection can be carried out in advance. 3. Solutions to electromagnetic flowmeter output shaking 1. The impact of external electrical and magnetic interference on the signal converter. There are many interference sources, including power supply interference (50hz power frequency interference), electromagnetic interference caused by motors, common mode interference superimposed on the signal, etc. From the perspective of the ways to interfere with the incoming signal converter, the main sources are power supply circuits and signal circuits. Converters generally return to normal when the source of interference disappears. 2. The impact of external interference on the electromagnetic flowmeter sensor electrode. When there is stray current in the sensor, the ionosphere is attached to the electrode, or there is a large amount of interference signal on the signal line due to on-site grounding problems, the signal processing circuit will not be able to obtain the actual signal from the noise. When the liquid is a slurry containing many variable particles, and the particles in the liquid being measured wash away the electrode, a large number of spike interference signals will appear in the signal, and the signal processing circuit will also be unable to obtain the actual signal from the noise. 3. The sensor tube is not full or the liquid contains bubbles. If an electrode is not in contact with the measured liquid due to the above reasons, the signal on the electrode will be a messy signal.
