In the 31st round of the Premier League, Chelsea defeated Manchester City 2-1. Liverpool leads with 23 points, securing the title seven rounds early and breaking a record in England’s top league. It is Liverpool’s first Premier League title in their history; the Reds have won the top English league championship for the first time in 30 years. Liverpool last won a top-flight championship during the old First Division season in 1989-90. In this season’s Premier League, Liverpool has been in dominant form; after achieving 8 consecutive wins at the start of the season, they drew with Manchester United in round 9, before going on to record 18 consecutive wins and thus tying the Premier League’s record for longest winning streak. However, they lost to Watford and failed to break the record for the longest winning streak in Europe’s top five leagues. After 31 rounds, Liverpool achieved an impressive record of 28 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss, leading the Premier League by a huge margin and securing the championship ahead of schedule.

Twenty years have passed, and finally they have achieved their goal of winning the league title
