Our company is planning to adopt ion-exchange membrane caustic soda production, and we would like to learn about the various types of electrolyzers and membranes available. There are companies in China that produce membranes, but the membranes they create are relatively small and not yet suitable for industrial use. Blue Star (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. is the manufacturer of electrolyzers; it is currently the only company in China capable of designing and producing ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers on its own, as well as providing complete sets of ion-exchange membrane caustic soda production systems and the corresponding electrolysis process technologies.
I haven’t heard that domestic membranes have been put into industrial use; it would be great if they had.
There is more than just Beihua Ji in China that is capable of producing electrolytic cells; due to patent issues, they have not dared to publicize this fact.
We use electrolyzers from Blue Star (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd., with ion exchange membranes supplied by Asahi Kasei. Domestic membranes have not yet been industrialized
It is said that when the market for chlor-alkali products was not very strong, Asahi Kasei wanted to sell the electrolyzer technology as a package to Beihua Machinery, but the deal did not go through. In the past couple of years, as the market improved, Asahi Kasei saw potential profits in it and decided not to sell anymore. Hehe.

I can now produce full-perfluorosulfonic acid membranes with dimensions of 1.2*2.4, but there are still challenges to overcome regarding the carboxylic acid layer. Membranes made of perfluorosulfonic acid have been used in small quantities in fuel cells, as well as for water electrolysis and the electrolytic recovery of copper.
