At 3 a.m. on August 13th, Beijing time, the quarter-finals of the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League were played at the Guangming Stadium, with Atlanta facing Paris Saint-Germain. In the first half, Neymar missed a one-on-one opportunity, and Pasalic broke the deadlock; in the second half, Marquinhos equalized the score, and Shuboi-Motin scored the winning goal as a substitute just before the end of the match. In the end, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Atlanta 2-1 in a comeback win, allowing Paris to advance to the semifinals while Atlanta was unfortunately eliminated.
Although Neymar missed a few opportunities, his impact throughout the match was undeniable; he still had plenty of energy in the final stages and continued to move past defenders with ease. Atlanta lost due to a lack of stamina, but they deserve respect!
The 4th round of the 2020 China Super League Suzhou division was held at the Suzhou Sports Center, with Beijing Guoan facing Hebei Huaxia. In the first half, Kim Tae-yeon’s cross led to an own goal; in the second half, Zhang Yuning increased the score, Ren Hang scored with a headball, Dong Xuesheng brought one back for his team, and Hou Yongyong secured the victory as a substitute. In the end, Beijing Guoan defeated Hebei Huaxia 3-1, achieving four consecutive wins, while Huaxia failed to win in four matches in a row. In the Suzhou competition league table, Guoan leads with 12 points, while Huaxia is in second-to-last place with 2 points
At 18:00 on August 12th, Beijing time, a match from the fourth round of the Chinese Super League in the Suzhou division was played between Shanghai SIPG and Chongqing Lifan. In the first half, Chen Binbin missed a great opportunity, while Zhang Chenglin scored with a header before leaving the field injured. In the second half, Yan Junling made some brilliant saves; Anautovic equalized with a header, while Kariso committed a handball, giving Oscar a penalty kick from which he scored to take the lead. In the end, Shanghai SIPG overturned Zhejiang Greentown 2-1 to move to the top of the group in the Suzhou division despite playing first.
