Coiled oil is a stream in the quench oil tower of the rapid quench section; increasing the circulation of coiled oil helps to stabilize the operation and temperature of the quench oil tower. Some ethylene plants do not have this feature
Today I saw a gear oil pump in the ethylene section and thought it was for turning the gears; thanks for the explanation from someone above.
