I accidentally entered the chemical industry, starting as a complete novice, and worked hard to turn myself into a professional.
What does hard work entail? Showing up for work on time and not being absent from it – is that considered hard work? If you get fired, should you not stay at home but instead immediately start looking for another job? After working for many years, having no certificates or professional titles, no promotion, and having learned only manipulative skills rather than anything useful.
