How can one truly understand the concepts of enthalpy and entropy?/

I was just discussing this with my instructor – the concept of entropy is too abstract; you might want to look into engineering thermodynamics. Not understanding these two concepts doesn’t prevent you from applying other knowledge. You can read some books on the philosophy of science, such as Dialectics of Nature and similar works.
