30 teams, 300 days and nights, and 3,000 ordinary people participated in the creation of this work, using a style that is both tender and delicate yet also grand and magnificent to present a birthday gift to Pudong on its 30th anniversary. On October 30th, the “Wind from the East – Art Exhibition Celebrating 30 Years of Pudong’s Development and Opening Up,” organized by the Pudong New Area Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, opened at the China Art Museum. An old man stood in front of a theme wall composed of 1,210 photos of people’s daily lives and said in a trembling voice, “This is me; this is Pudong, where we live!” ” A middle-aged \"veteran developer\" stood next to the sculpture depicting the theme of \"embracing all rivers and facing the world,\" looking at the annual photos of Lujiazui taken from above. Countless moments of intense brainstorming and strategic planning came to mind; \"I dedicated my youth to Pudong. As we have grown old, Pudong has thrived!\" ” A family of three sat on a bench in the small exhibition hall of “Beautiful Village”; they looked up at the seagulls soaring in the sky and down at the bright pink peach blossoms. The little girl blurted out, “It’s so beautiful here…” Over the past 10 days, more than 50,000 visitors have come here, feeling either excited or filled with joy. It has been observed that here, everyone can find memories from the past, and everyone can connect emotionally with Pudong. Within the 5,000-square-meter exhibition hall, there are paintings, photographs, sculptures, and installation art that reflect significant **strategic achievements**, as well as multimedia interactive experiences that illustrate the urban development and changes. There are also dramatic presentations and live broadcasts that showcase the better quality of life for the people. This is a thematic art exhibition that combines political significance, artistic quality, and a focus on the people, resonating deeply with those who strive and those who take part. While viewing the exhibition, some people laughed, some sighed, some shed tears, some were in awe, some reflected on the past, and some envisioned the future. It is a folk art exhibition that travels through time, carrying the memories of the people, as well as a wonderful journey to experience the passion and achievements of reform and opening up!
