Prospects for OTS positions in the chemical industry

I’ve just received offers for work in OTS simulation and external tube design, and I’m struggling to decide which one is better. Could any experienced professionals give me some advice? From what I’ve seen, OTS simulation is useful for new operators before they start driving, but it’s rarely used after that; moreover, the industry in China isn’t very developed, making it difficult to change jobs there. The outer tube design also basically involves drawing diagrams every day. But between the two, I actually prefer the outer tube design. I hope the experts here can give me some advice

Thank you for your reply; it is a trend, and there is some potential for simulation companies. But it may not hold much promise for employees. There are only a few large companies across the country; these are the ones one might consider for job changes or career transitions in the future
To be honest, OTS doesn’t carry much value; it’s just software that has already been developed, and all you do is operate it – there’s no essential difference between that and being a regular operator. At the beginning of design, it starts with drawing; there are other paths to take later on.
Just select the pipeline directly. Universal remedy – there’s always work to be done with it. OTS is just a game console. .
