Does anyone know what wires are used for argon arc welding of pure nickel alloys Hastelloy B, Hastelloy B-2, Hastelloy C, and Hastelloy C-276? What welding process parameters should be chosen? Thank you!

The simplest method is to cut a strip on the base metal and use it as a welding wire during TIG welding.

Nickel welding is more complicated than titanium and stainless steel welding. The welding environment, materials, processes, welder level, protection, interlayer temperature control, and weld bead cleaning are all very demanding.
Welding of special materials is no more difficult than common welding. Welding should be done more carefully. Those with high welding requirements require surfacing!
