The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a #Orange Warning for Cold Wave# at 6 a.m. on the 28th. It is expected that from December 28th to 31st, temperatures in most areas of the central and eastern regions will drop by about 10°C, with local drops exceeding 16°C!
Temperatures will drop by 12–16°C in the eastern part of the Northwest Region, the southeastern part of the Northeast Region, the western and northern parts of North China, the southern part of the Huanghuai Region, the Jianghuai Region, the Jiangnan Region, and the central and northern parts of South China; in some areas, the temperature drop could exceed 16°C! The cold wave army is ready; the “freezing” mode will be activated in the central and eastern regions.
This is the first orange warning for cold waves issued since 2016; everyone should take care to stay warm~

Affected by the cold snap, from the early hours of the 29th to the 31st, Weihai will experience widespread heavy snowfall, significant temperature drops, and strong winds. Heavy to blizzard conditions are expected in the urban area, Rongcheng, and Wendeng, while moderate snowfall is anticipated in Rushan. The lowest temperatures in various parts of the city are set to reach new lows since the second half of this year. This cold snap is characterized by severe temperature drops, heavy snowfall, strong winds, and a long duration; everyone is advised to dress warmly in a timely manner to avoid catching a cold.
