Can you use the small, unassuming F wrench correctly? Is it safe for you to use?
Mr. Hiroshi Sano, a technical advisor at Sinopec, said that using an F wrench with improper force can cause injuries and can also damage the valves; therefore, its use should be reduced.
1. First, it should be secured firmly to the door wheel to prevent it from coming loose. 2. The operator should keep their feet apart and firmly planted, with their legs providing proper support to prevent falling. 3. The operator should hold the handle with both hands and apply force in a proper and even manner, avoiding excessive force or forceful movements. . 4. The handle of the valve wrench should be at the same horizontal level as the door wheel, so that the force applied by the valve wrench is properly directed onto the door wheel, preventing damage to it due to excessive force.
Any tool needs to be used correctly
We also rarely use an F wrench, to prevent damage to the valve as well. Regularly strengthen the maintenance of valves; the screw rods should be oiled periodically to maintain lubrication.
It’s also easy to choke while eating, accidentally :sleepy:
Judging from the responses from several comrades, regarding the small F wrench, many people indeed only have a superficial understanding of it or do not know how to use it correctly and properly. Let’s wait and see how those who come after perform.
I saw an example of incorrect use of the F knob.
There’s also this example using an F shutter for a slow shutter speed shot.
