Our company counted today the number of employees who won’t return home for the Spring Festival (the boss’s note: no salary will be paid if they are quarantined while at home). It seems there’s no way to go home, and the boss hasn’t mentioned any compensation either. I wonder: how many people like me are there who could have gone home but couldn’t?

However, it’s hard to say that the trip home won’t result in an infection. Unless one has a private car, and it must not be from an epidemic area. Stop counting; no one can say for sure which areas won’t be under quarantine. That’s why such restrictions exist.
I was already driving home; the regulation in the plain areas is quite strict.
It’s better to be cautious. The variable probability is too high; it must be guarded against. For those who work, losing their job, even temporarily, is a problem.
