Although the journey has been full of challenges and the earnings have been limited, I have never regretted it; Since I have made this choice, I must move forward, striving to excel in this field step by step; it’s tough, but I also find joy in it! It’s that time of year again when students need to fill out their college application forms. The editor hopes that all students will choose a major in chemical engineering, so as to work alongside the editor and contribute to the development of China’s manufacturing industry! ^_^ It is said that the chemical industry is tough, and it’s not profitable ; It is said that men in the chemical industry are the most family-oriented; they work outside in all weathers every day, just to ensure a better life for their wives and children. So, today the editor will clearly calculate for everyone just how much a father who works in a chemical plant needs to earn per month in order to enable his wife to not have to work. . . . . It takes about 40 years from graduating from university to retirement; these 40 years represent the prime period of struggle in our lives, so we will base our calculations on 40 years. 1. These days, it’s essential to have a house. Even a 100-square-meter house would cost around 800,000 yuan or more in a small county, including the cost of purchase, renovation, and household appliances. 2. For an ordinary family to buy a car, the total cost of all procedures amounts to 150,000. It’s reasonable to replace the car 3 times over 40 years, which would cost another 450,000. Adding the cost of fuel and maintenance at 1,000 per month, or 12,000 per year, the total cost over 40 years comes to 480,000. In total, the minimum cost for the cars is: 48W + 45W = 93W. 3. With the current policy allowing for second children, even if it’s not considered a second child, it still takes 600,000 yuan to raise one child from birth until graduation from university. Those who can’t afford expensive schools opt for ordinary public schools instead. At least 60W is required. 4. Living costs: the expenses for electricity, water, gas, telephone bills, internet fees, and food each month add up to 2,500 per month for a family of three. These costs increase during holidays, so the total annual expenditure is at least 30,000. Then, for convenient living expenses, 120W is needed. 5. Regarding clothing: ● Women always seem to lack one piece of clothing; looking good helps to bring honor to their husbands! I need to buy things on sale, I need to buy them when the season changes, if my best friend buys it, I have to buy it too... Keep buying. Even if I try to control myself, buying 2 items a month isn’t too much. It doesn’t have to be expensive; 500 should be fine. ●Men have fewer requirements when it comes to clothing; they need a new set for each season, but the quality must be good. If a set costs 1000, that amounts to 4000 per year, or 333 per month on average. ●Not to mention children – no matter how difficult or tiring things are, we can’t make them suffer, right? In this \"foolish era,\" children’s clothes are also extremely expensive. At least 500 a month, I guess. For clothing, 40 years would require 6.4W6. As for cosmetics: BB cream, toner, serum, cream, powder, eyeliner, eye cream, eyebrow pencil, lipstick, lip gloss, makeup remover, facial cleanser, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner – none of these can be missing; the average monthly cost is 500. ●Husband: I use the shampoo and body wash that my wife uses; I don’t have any other needs – it can be considered zero over the course of a year. ● Child: Special care is needed when it comes to a child’s skin, and green, pollution-free products are essential! Children’s toothpaste, children’s toothbrushes, and various other items add up to 100. In total, over 40 years, 800,000 will be spent on clothing and cosmetics. 7. Parents who raise us throughout our lives deserve to be taken care of; both parents need support. If each person spends 300 yuan per month (300 yuan × 12 months × 40 years) for 4 people, that amounts to 576,000. 8. Travel: A family of three needs to go on at least one long trip per year. If they don’t travel abroad, it will cost 7,000 yuan for the family. There are 52 weekends in a year; assuming 5 of those weekends are used to take the children out, with an expense of 600 yuan per trip, the total cost for the year is 3,000 yuan. Going abroad on a trip once every 40 years isn’t too much; a trip to Asia would cost around 50,000 yuan. In total, (7,000 + 3,000) × 40 + 50,000 = 450,000. 9. Medical expenses are unpredictable. Assuming no serious illnesses occur throughout the year, with only occasional cases of fever, coughs, headaches, or colds, the annual cost would be 1,000 yuan. In total, 1000x40 = 4.6W. If a serious illness occurs, it would represent an endless expense. That’s the end of this discussion; therefore, serious illnesses are not considered for now. 10. The total amount of basic expenses is: 80W + 93W + 60W + 120W + 6.4W + 80W + 57.6W + 45W + 4.6W = 546.6W. The average monthly income required is: 546.6W ÷ 40 years ÷ 12 months = 11,387.5 yuan. This amount can only be used for expenses; isn’t it possible to save any money over 40 years? On average, men who work in chemical plants need to earn around 15,000 per month in order to enable their wives not to work! Take a breath and take a look at your paystub! What a sad situation for those who work in digital factories; let’s cheer on them for their Audi wives, their Dior babies, and their Oreo!
