At the start of the second half, Manchester United scored through Luke Shaw after 3 passes, widening their lead, while Jesus missed several good opportunities. At the end of the match, Manchester United defeated Manchester City 2-0 away from home, putting an end to the latter’s 21-game winning streak.
If this level of performance can be maintained, they should be able to win a trophy this season! It might be a good thing that Manchester City’s run of consecutive wins has come to an end; at least they can win two championships now?
Manchester United’s defense performed at an excellent level in this match; almost every player was involved in defense. Lashtra rushed back from the front line to the defense line to disrupt opposing attacks, and his speed was even greater than that of Lindelöf.
