Have you noticed a trend in primary and secondary school teaching these days: lower-grade students are being taught content meant for higher grades? Why is this done?
The result of exam-oriented education: forcing growth prematurely
Learning English in kindergarten; the vocabulary level at junior high is equivalent to that of the former CET4. Trigonometric functions are learned in elementary school, while calculus is introduced in junior high school. In kindergarten, children memorize 300 Tang poems; by junior high school, they have learned almost all the classical Chinese texts from high school. A large amount of the content we learned before has been removed; some of the core ideas we studied have been changed; the pronunciation of the words we learned has changed as well; and the calculation methods we used have been altered. In short, even if you were admitted to Peking University or Tsinghua University back then, teaching children now may not necessarily be the right thing for you to do. There’s no other choice; learn together with the child in kindergarten……
I don’t know what kind of education is a good one……
