III. Background of the Conference: With the increasing demands for environmental protection, new separation technologies that aim to improve the efficiency of chemical production processes, reduce energy consumption, and achieve green production have become the new trend in the development of chemical separation technologies. As a typical unit operation in separation processes, distillation enables the industrialization of new technologies. By applying advanced distillation techniques, it can help address issues such as high energy consumption, low product quality, and severe pollution associated with distillation technology in China. In particular, China’s petroleum and chemical industry currently needs to accelerate the optimization and upgrading of its industrial structure. There is an urgent need to utilize process intensification technologies to improve manufacturing processes, enhance process control, achieve more efficient use of energy, and boost the quality and competitiveness of the industry. In recent years, numerous researchers in our country have carried out extensive research and applications in the field of process intensification in chemical engineering, and some of the technical achievements have surpassed those of foreign counterparts. Especially in fields such as coupling and separation technologies, microreactor technologies, and supergravity enhancement technologies, numerous advancements in processes and equipment have been put into practice, yielding significant benefits in petroleum and chemical production. It covers areas such as oil and gas processing, petroleum refining, production of petroleum chemicals, fertilizer production, coal chemical industry, as well as environmental protection and new energy. This seminar combines elements such as theme presentations, customer requirement announcements, solution introductions, and discussion sessions, allowing participants and technical experts to explore new trends in complex distillation separation technologies as well as new approaches to improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact ; To assist enterprises in addressing how to reduce energy consumption in production processes, and to enhance distillation technology and process energy savings.
