Can zinc oxide dry desulfurization be regenerated using high-pressure anhydrous steam?
Zinc oxide performs very poorly after regeneration.
It seems that sulfur should be burned by passing air at 1500 degrees (I think the temperature should be above 1350 degrees): 2ZnS+3O2=2ZnO+2SO2? ? This post was last edited by cuikk on 2009-1-9 11:08.]
We are all disposable; once the sulfur capacity is saturated, we are replaced. Regeneration estimation doesn’t have much effect.
It is difficult to regenerate; it has no practical significance. The saturated desulfurizer can be processed instead
Yes, reoxidized zinc isn’t very useful. One might want to take a look at the new product from Beijing Sanju Environmental Protection Company: a desulfurization agent with a high sulfur capacity, and it offers a reasonable cost-performance ratio.
For chemical consumables, it’s not enough to claim how much savings have been achieved just by making an initial investment; one must also consider the future operating expenses and costs. It is not cost-effective to save on the one-time investment in this way.
