The so-called college application guidance is nothing more than a tactic used by service agencies to take advantage of parents’ ignorance and anxiety in order to make a profit. I understand the desire to seek advice, but candidates and their parents need to remain rational and keep a sharp eye; they should not fall for false promotions or be deceived, nor should they rely on so-called college application services when making their choices. At the same time, the relevant authorities also need to address as soon as possible those obvious cases of false advertising that violate regulations.
