It depends on the circumstances and the equipment available; there’s no fixed way to assess this issue in a battlefield that hasn’t been predetermined. In the case of the Afghan battlefield, Afghanistan was able to defeat the Soviets as well
It is people, not things, who determine the outcome of war; P

If a character appears, they can grow from weak to strong, fighting all the way to complete victory. :hug:
In special operations, weapons are not a decisive factor. It depends on the environment in which combat takes place and whether logistical support can keep up; without proper logistics, it’s not much better than having nothing at all!

The crossbows of that time were no less powerful than modern machine guns; the difference lay mainly in accuracy over distance, with not much disparity. Saying that it’s as easy as taking a general’s head from among thousands of soldiers is just something told in stories.
