Lacking confidence, many things that one is not familiar with turn out to be not that difficult; they seem difficult only because of a lack of confidence and a reluctance to try them. Once one is forced to do them, they realize that they aren’t actually that hard after all.

This can be true when doing tasks that require no technical skills, but it doesn’t work when technical expertise is needed. For example, would it be okay to ask a butcher who has spent most of his life slaughtering pigs to use a scalpel to perform an appendectomy on someone? No! Because he is not a person trained in this field, he cannot do the work related to it.
It might work if you had a castrator perform an appendectomy; P
