Some internal threaded steel gate valves of DN15 size in our unit often experience problems such as being unable to be closed properly, or the valve stem breaking easily when trying to open or close them. I wonder how you maintain your valves?
Generally, it’s maintained by applying butter; if possible, open it once after some time to check
Internal threaded steel gate valves are mainly used to prevent the threads from rusting! ! !
Is it the case that there’s basically a long period of time with no activity? It’s best to have the process carry out minor movements at regular intervals.
For the 4-way shut-off valves used in pressure guiding pipes, we generally choose copper or stainless steel ball valves nowadays, and they perform well in use.
It’s a switch that can be operated under pressure, right? Domestically produced valves generally have this issue; it is recommended to purchase genuine products, give priority to globe valves, and choose welded or flanged valves
1. Small valve; operated manually for switching, no F wrench required； 2. Pay close attention to the packing area; address any leaks promptly ； 3. Is the valve stem material resistant to corrosion by the medium?
For valves with a poor design, the valve stem must be thick and made of high-quality material; for those with a good design, a thinner valve stem also works well. I prefer thin ones: the seal is more reliable and there’s less resistance!
