Do dogs eat dog meat?

I was living on the second floor at that time; a dog passed by below and threw down a bone. The dog came over, sniffed it, then retreated while barking loudly, before leaving. So I think dogs don’t eat dog meat. Another one came later, so I tried it with a dog bone, and the dog ate it right away. So the previous conclusion is wrong. Later, people said that dogs with high intelligence do not eat their own kind, and those that do such things are considered low-intelligence dogs that lack sense of loyalty; I’m not sure if this statement is true. We have a Shiba Inu at home now, and I’m worried about what would happen if we bought dog meat to eat;P
I heard that dogs can usually tell the difference and won’t eat their own kind.
Dogs have a very keen sense of smell and high intelligence; there is a big difference between hunting dogs and pet dogs.
Some people eat it, some don’t – is it like dogs?
