Do you know what requirements the gasoline hydrogenation unit generally has for circulating oil if the catalyst is sulfurized on-site?
During the initial activation process of the vulcanizing agent, the quality requirements of the circulating oil are relatively strict. Generally, refined oil with good quality and good stability is used. Our device is a gasoline and diesel hydrogenation device. When we vulcanize, we use straight-run diesel, which contains less unsaturated hydrocarbons. The temperature rise in the reactor bed is not large and is easy to control. One of the impurities is that the content is small, and the catalyst is not easy to coke in the early stage.
Gasoline hydrodesulfurization device, straight-run naphtha is used for sulfurized oil. The principle is the same as above.
It is recommended to use dry vulcanization, which has good effect and less corrosion.
Dry vulcanization is not suitable for gasoline hydrorefining.

There are several manufacturers of gasoline hydrogenation catalysts. I wonder if the requirements for circulating oil are the same?

It seems that dimethyl disulfide is also used as a fluidizing agent, which is easier to use and safer than carbon disulfide.
Why use diesel for hydrogenating gasoline? Generally, the quality indicators of straight-flow naphtha used at atmospheric and vacuum pressure are provided by the catalyst supplier, and each catalyst may be somewhat different.
