Welding Management System 1 Welding Procedure Qualification Management: The company’s controls regarding welding procedure qualification are implemented by its dedicated weld inspection company. Welding technicians on the project submit requests based on the welding requirements of the project (specifications, materials). The total length on both sides of the weld shall not be more than 10% of the total weld length, nor more than 40 mm; the root bulge shall not exceed 2 mm; the indentation shall be less than 1.5 mm.
