In the round-robin stage of women’s curling at the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Chinese women’s curling team faced the Swedish team, champions of the Pyeongchang Olympics. The Chinese team made adjustments to their base positions; Wang Rui and Han Yu exchanged roles, with Han Yu taking on the role of third base and Wang Rui taking on the role of fourth base. The whole team was in excellent form from the start, taking a 3:0 lead and eventually defeating Sweden 9:6 to secure their first victory since the tournament began!
