When making a selection, the following points should be taken into account: (1) Use imported equipment, paying attention to the configuration of electrical control systems, instrumentation, and mechanical spare parts; at the same time, consider spare parts that can be supplied by domestic manufacturers, as this can reduce maintenance costs. ⑵When air is used as the medium, the selection of the pre-filter in front of the machine should also be taken into consideration ； Dust entering the unit can easily increase vibration, leading to a higher failure rate. When a clean medium is used, the failure rate is relatively low. ⑶From a practical perspective, it is important that compressors from abroad can truly be adapted for use in local conditions. II. Shenyu’s performance is poor; Shangyu’s is still okay for now

The compressor industry is quite large, but in the petrochemical and chemical industries, the typical feature is the use of large-scale units. Large centrifugal compressors and large reciprocating compressors are particularly common. Common manufacturers used in the petrochemical industry include:

Centrifugal compressors: Domestic – Jiaotai Caili, Shaanxi Gas Turbine, Shenyang Gas Turbine; the top three companies. Imported – Siemens Mannesmann (mainly for air separation), SABIC (for air separation and ammonia synthesis), Dresser-Rand (for fertilizers), Atlas (for hydrogen, etc.), Sulzer, Kobe Steel. (Most large centrifugal compressors are imported.)

Reciprocating compressors: Domestic – Shanghai Compressor Factory, Shanghai Dalong Machinery Factory, Shenyang Gas Compressor Factory, Shenyang Yuanda Compressor Factory, Wuxi Compressor Factory, Lanzhou Chemical Machinery Research Institute. Imported – KOHO (Japan), Dresser-Rand. (For reciprocating compressors, domestic ones are usually sufficient.)

Shenmu, Shaanxi Blower, Huludao Siemens, and so on – I have quite a lot of experience with them

Support domestic products! Shanxi Blower, Shenyang Blower – both are good; Jinhua Machinery is also good, though it was acquired by Siemens as well.

Support for domestic manufacturers: Shaanxi Blower Factory and Shenyang Blower Factory. In the coking industry, centrifugal blowers are almost always chosen from these two companies; their performance is comparable, and their products are satisfactory for use. The price is half of that abroad. The compressors for the fertilizer industry recently developed by Shaanxi Blower Factory cost only 1/3 of those imported, and they also offer good performance.

For reforming hydrogenation units, the reciprocating type is supplied by Shenyang Drum, Shenyang Yuanda, and Wuxi Compressor; for coking and heavy catalysis applications, the centrifugal type is used, with rich gas compressors provided by Shenyang Drum. Air compressors of the screw type are manufactured by Fusheng and Atlas
