Let’s discuss whether your colleagues’ facilities have oxygen-enriching furnaces for gas production Are there any materials that can be burned? Is it coke, brown coal, or small-grained coke or brown coal pellets, or briquettes? How is the burning? What is the load per furnace? (Oxygen enrichment rate in the furnace) What is the concentration of oxygen used? What is the ratio of oxygen to steam? What about the gas composition? What is the defocus rate approximately?
Burning briquettes is even more cost-effective. Additionally, are there any special controls for oxygen-enriched gas production?
What I’ve heard of is burning bituminous coal; it comes in large pieces, small pieces, and briquetted form, depending on the type of furnace
Oxygen-enriched oxidation is essentially the same as the conventional fixed-bed gas generator, with no changes in the raw materials used.
We have developed a design for Henan, which involves a fixed-bed system for oxygen-enriched continuous gasification; it’s only a preliminary design. After gathering some information, we found that oxygen-enriched continuous gasification is rarely used in China, and its results are not very good. It seems that only those in Sanming, Fujian are in use.
Oxygen-enriched oxidation is now being used more often; as far as I know, Henan Shunda Acetic Acid has 5 oxygen-enriched furnaces. Hebei Jiantao’s 10 oxygen-enriched furnaces give the impression that their performance is not yet very stable. I wonder if it’s available elsewhere.
Actually, anything can be burned; burning charcoal is costly, while briquettes are the most cost-effective.
