We cannot comment on other people’s affairs, but if the Chinese national football team had spent 200 billion over 20 years, and that amount had been invested in chips, the situation in the chip industry might have looked very different.
200 billion is a bit short for chips; it would be possible to build 2 new aircraft carriers to form a fleet that can circle around Taiwan.
Without a national football team, how can GDP be generated? Just like real estate, it is a toy in the hands of a few people, used to improve metrics.
