After installing Autoplant 2004, I can’t see the AUTOplant menu in CAD 2004 when it’s opened! What’s going on? ? ?I’m dying of worry!
Autoplan can run on any version (the installation steps are illustrated below using AutoCAD 2006 as an example): 1. Enter “regedit” in the Run dialog box on the Start menu to open the Registry Editor, and modify the following three locations: (1) Change … to …; (2) Change … to …; (3) Change ProductName" = "AutoCAD 2006" to ProductName" = "AutoCAD 2004". 2. In File Explorer, change “AutoCAD 2006” in “C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\” to “AutoCAD 2004”, and then change “R16.2” under it to “R16.0”. 3. Install AutoPlant 2004. 4. Change the three modified entries in the registry back to their original values, and also change the two modified entries in File Explorer back as well; otherwise, CAD will not be able to run. 5. Register each project in AutoPlant 2004 using the registration software. 6. When AutoPlant 2004 is run, its “AutoPlant 3D” menu will be loaded after AutoCAD 2006 is started. The same procedure can be followed for installation in AutoCAD 2005; it’s sufficient to know that the corresponding version is R16.1.
It’s the menu that won’t load; reinstalling it multiple times hasn’t solved the problem. I really don’t know what’s going on. I’m using CAD2004 and AUTOPLANT2004.! ! !
Does loading the menu file manually not work either?
